I wanted to thank you for a most interesting site — and a visually
fascinating one as well.
It may interest you to know that CanAdopt was the first place I
registered when trying to find my son. That, however was not how
your page came to me. I was searching for 'Sunny Jim' on Google
and found your reference.
My son was originally named James Gregory. The name James was a
reference to two things — the first soon became too difficult
to keep
in mind, the other a bitter sweet but ever present thought.
The second was Sweet Baby James — a James Taylor song from
the year he was born.
The first was a reference to 'Sunny
Jim'. His mother and I were both
quite interested in theater and we chose that name as we knew that
it
would disappear as he would and we would be left much as George
and Martha were — with a secret and unresolvable loss, one
which could not be shared and, even if shared would not be accepted
as supported by others for the grief that it was.
